The first picture is of me with some new friends I met. I am on a fundraising table that one organization at the school does each year. They allow people to rent a puppy from the shelter for $5 per ten minutes. All of the money goes to cancer research and it allows people to fall in love with and adopt dogs that have not been treated the best in the past. Conner and I played with a dog named Rigby, who is a black lab and very playful. I really liked him! I wanted to take him home to you guys! The last picture is of Rigby, Conner, and myself. Isn't he cute?
In the second picture I am at the Memorial Fountain in the school. The fountain spews water from 32 spokes and takes the form of a basketball. This is to commemorate 32 Evansville basketball players who died in a plane crash on the way to a huge game in the seventies. Their names are all listed on the tablets on the side. So, I learned a lot of history!
The third picture is of me on the sign that says the name of the school. Behind me is the oldest building on the school campus, Olmstead Hall. It was built in 1919! Also, you can see how green and beautiful the midwest is during the spring time. I sure had a lot of fun in the fields!
The fourth picture is of one of the school's tour guides, Grant, giving high school students getting ready to go to college a tour of the school. I liked it so much that I got a tour and I am considering going here for college within the coming years! From first grade to college! Haha.
I can't wait to see where I am going next!
