My Visit to North Carolina

I have been back and forth from NY to Brazil several times while travelling with my friend, Louise. They are only in Sao Paulo for 12 hrs so they only have time for breakfast and sleeping. Thank goodness for eggs to order. I have developed a taste for omelets. I like cheese & peppers. Do you? Brazilians are very warm and friendly people. Do you know what language they speak? Portuguese. It sounds a little like Spanish. They like their coffee very strong. So does Louise.

I came back home to Wilmington NC with Louise and stayed with her son, Cam. He is in 1st grade at Wrightsville Beach Elementary. It is on an island. They have their own dock, take marine science classes and even go kayaking! Isnt that cool? The ocean here is the Atlantic. Is it smaller or larger than the Pacific?

Louise goes to Sao Paulo again tonite but I am hoping to catch a ride with someone going somewhere a little more exciting. She has friends going to Paris, Tokyo, Bermuda, and lots of other cool places. No telling where I am going next!!
Bye for now!

He likes green like me!

Going for a ride.  This time in a car!

I am definitely loved!

I made a new friend.

This is on a beach in North Carolina

My Travels This Fall

I have had a great time flying on airplanes. Below are pictures of a flight I took from California to New York.

Yippeeee!!! Here I am about to fly to New York on American Airlines!!! I am sitting on the door handle of a 767 - they are getting ready to close the aircraft door so I better hop on in !

This is Erin . She is a flight attendant, too . Her kids go to Woodcrest . She brought me on this flight . I am hanging out in the " galley." The galley is the kitchen on the airplane !

Ok, now I am onboard the flight to New York . I don't have an actual seat assignment so I am going to hop from place to place . I'm resting in the over head bin right now .
Wow! I got invited to the cockpit!  The pilot on the left is the captain and the pilot on the right is the first officer. Our flying time is 4:40 and it is 2217 nautical miles!

Look...I am a pilot!

New York is called " the Big Apple."

This is Anita .., she is one of the flight attendants that took care of me from LA to NY!

Enjoying time with my new friends!

My plan is to travel now with some of my new flight attendant friends. They are taking me to Rome, Italy, San Paulo, Brazil, and then I will head back to New York City. Who knows what will happen next! This is fun!!

My Time With Heidi and Jack

Hello, everyone!  I wanted to share with you a little more news about my travels. I was in Baton Rouge. Don't worry, I was gone before hurricane Isaac came through! Baton Rouge is the capital of Louisiana. LSU (Louisiana State University) is the big college down there. They are the LSU Tigers. There is a real live tiger - Mike the Tiger. Mike is the mascot. It was very hot the day we went to see him, so he was inside his shelter instead of outside in his beautiful habitat... I didn't get a chance to see him.

Louisiana is known for it's good food and for Mardi Gras. Mardi Gras is a huge party. It means "Fat Tuesday" in French. It is a gigantic party  each year in New Orleans and other cities in Louisiana. I had a really fun time. This picture is taken in front of the LSU football stadium. The stadium can hold over 100 thousand people!

This was a picture taken of me with a bronze statue of LSU's mascot-Mike the Tiger. You can see his beautiful home/habitat in the background. It was too hot for him to be outside- even in his pond. I couldn't get a picture with him, but I did find his statue. Heidi and Jack, who go to Woodcrest, are in this photo with their cousin, Allie, who lives in Baton Rouge.

Heidi and Jack's mom is a flight attendant and she is taking me to New York! I will be in touch soon!
Oh...when you see Heidi and Jack at school, thank them for taking great care of me.

My Summer Adventure

Boys and girls I spent the summer with our classmate Mikey in his new home in Rhode Island.  I had a great time!  I heard we have new friends in our classroom. I look forward to meeting you. I hope you will enjoy learning about all the places I will visit.

During my time with Mikey and his family, friends from our school came to visit.  Their names are Jack and Heidi.  They took me on their travels to visit their grandparents.  Take a look at the pictures and see all the things I got to see.

Here I am with Mikey and his brothers and sister.

My traveling really started picking up when I went with Jack and Heidi! I had a fabulous time in Lexington, Kentucky. The beautiful building you see behind me is actually a horse barn! They really love horses here - especially race horses!

Ok, so here is a picture of me on a nice piece of art. This horse was made from wood and metal. Kentucky is known for producing the fastest horses in the world.  Some people think that because of all the limestone the Kentucky Blue Grass is mineral rich with Limestone and that contributes to healthy horses. The grass isn't actually blue, but the horses love to munch on it.

Hey, everyone! I went to Keenland Race Track in Lexington, Kentucky. Looks like I found a statue of a jockey!

I am with Mikey!

Boys and Girls I have made it all the way back across the country again to New Hampshire.  It was a long drive, but Mrs. Z. was great company and the views from the back seat were amazing!  It sure is pretty here!
Mikey was very excited to see me.  He gave me a giant hug. Mikey misses all of you very much. Today was Mikey's first day at his new school. I can't wait to hear all about it.  This weekend I will be travelling to see Boston, Massachusetts.  I will send some pictures soon.

I Can't Believe I am on the Road Again!

Boys and girls it was so great to see you on Monday!  My travels the last 6 months were fantastic, but I really did want to see more of our country.  I am glad that you wanted to send me off again.  I am loving this road trip with Mrs. Z.  all the way to Massachusetts.   I can't wait to see our fellow classmate, Mikey.  I know that all of you have missed him since he moved.  He is going to be so surprised to see me!  His mom is taking good care of me and she is taking my picture along the way.  She says we will get there in just 4 days.  Can you believe it?  I can't wait to see where I am going!

Day One: Froggy left Riverside and travelled all the way to Grand Junction Colorado. He went through California, Nevada, Utah and Colorado. This picture is of Froggy on the awesome rocks in Utah.

Day 2: Froggy went 750 miles today. From Colorado to Iowa passing all the way through Nebraska. Colorado is really cold. Froggy saw snow today.

I have been in Greeley, Colorado!

Hi Boys and Girls.  I have been busy!  I made a new friend and he wants to tell you about where I have been.

Froggy has made his way to Greeley, Colorado which is very far up north in Colorado. Greeley was a town that was started to originally be an agricultural town. But it slowly grew away from that as more and more people moved to live here. Greeley is famous for how smelly it is because of how many cows are around! The weather here can change a lot! It has snowed on random occasions starting all the way back in October to now in April! It has also had some rain storms and a good amount of sunny beautiful days. Froggy has spent all of his time in Greeley at the University of Northern Colorado hanging out with Evan Schmalz and Joshua Moran, two Theatre Education students who aspire to be teachers one day! Froggy can be seen in the pictures with the UNC Bear Statue out front of the University Center. He can also been seen hanging out with the Wiebking Residence Hall duck. Wiebking Hall is a residence building dedicated to Performing and Visual Arts majors, who are arguably the most fun students all around campus! So Froggy was sure to have had a fun and safe time. The picture with Froggy in a tree (he is hard to make out in the picture, but he is right about in the center of the tree) is him hanging out of Presidents Row which is a residence hall that was actually where former presidents have stayed on vacations. The tree that Froggy is in is the oldest tree in all of Greeley Colorado (I don't know the age).

I have had a great time.  I am now on my way home to check in with all of you in Riverside, California.
